A self-acclaimed pastor in Nigeria identified as Timileyin Ajayi has beheaded his girlfriend and cut her body into pieces.
Timileyin carried out the nefarious killing at home in Orozo, Angwan-Sarki, Abuja on Sunday,January 12,2025.
He intended to use her body parts for money rituals, reports suggested.
Timileyin and the deceased lady,Salome Adaidu have been dating for nearly a year.
Neighbours described the suspect as a ‘church boy’ who started his pastoral journey from Living Faith Bible church, and later moved to Christ Embassy.
Some of Tim’s colleagues say he is a ‘yahoo boy’ (local scammer), gospel singer, pastor and content creator.
A report Kasatintin.com sighted on Nigerian blog on X, TrendingEx narrated that ‘On Sunday afternoon, he came out of his house carrying a poly bag, and walking very disorganised. Neighbours started asking him ‘hope no problem’.
He managed to go a bit further into the community.
Then, two Hausa guys noticed he was being very ‘unusual’ as flies were flying heavily around the bag and blood was dripping from the bag.
They stopped him. Had a peek and saw it was human part. But, he managed to escape them. They tried to chase him with a bike. That was when he passed a church.
Somehow the church members outside raised alarm, people gathered and the police came.
When they asked him what happened.
Timileyin said ‘Salome came to visit him about two days ago, last night they had a little fight, she tried to hit him, he retaliated and she died.
Confused. He thought the best thing to do was dismember her into bits and dispose her around town. Unfortunately he was caught. He insisted he wasn’t a ritualist.
But it’s too late now. Because at the moment he was caught, the lady’s body was still dripping fresh in his house. As he had cut it into bits for easier dispatch’.
