Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is likely to be the 2028 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Sources say Mr Agyapong is lacing his boot to lead the party after Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as presidential candidate failed to secure victory for the NPP in the 2024 elections.
‘The former Assin Central MP appears to be the obvious choice based on his influence in the party and his strong ties with the grassroots’, one political analyst said.
Kennedy Agyapong is an experienced politician, and he means business. He has stormed the Volta Region, the stronghold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). His presence could end the dominance of the NDC in the Volta Region.
This factory will employ more than 5,000 workers in the the region.
