A 48-year-old man, Hanson Osei has been arrested by authorities on September 28, 2025, for operating an unlicensed medical clinic in his residence at Yeji Zongo, Bono East Region.
The suspect has allegedly ran the clinic for 11 years, treating patients without any medical training or license.
Used clinical items, including needles, malaria injection bottles, and infusion rubber sachets, were found in his bedroom where he operated the illegal clinic.
Hanson was arraigned before the Tuobodom District Court on September 30, 2025, and remanded into custody.
He is expected to reappear in court on October 6, 2025.
