The body of fallen Kumawood actor, Bishop Bernard Nyarko has been laid in state at the deceased’s family residence at Lakeside Estate in Accra.
Bishop Bernard Nyarko goes home today Saturday, 27th June, 2020. Hundreds of loved ones and sympathizers have since thronged the funeral grounds to pay their last respect.
Tears flowed as attendees filed past the actor’s body which will later be conveyed to Obosomase, Eastern Region – the deceased father’s hometown – for internment.
Bishop Bernard Nyarko died on 2nd May, 2020 after battling acute colon cancer for many years. He survived by 5 children.
‘Oh Lord, I don’t want to believe you’re gone. God be with you my friend’, Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty said when he broke the sad news on social media.
Former Adom TV presenter, Nana Yaa Brefo was heavily trolled following her infamous interview with Nana Ama McBrown on the actor’s death.
Netizens felt that the ‘Badwam’ presenter acted unprofessionally when she requested McBrown to mention the phone number of Bernard Nyarko on air.
Rumours said Nana Yaa Brefo arrogantly resigned from Adom TV as she was unwilling to accept her employer’s position to have her render an unqualified apology over the controversial interview.
