Former US President Donald Trump has survived an assassination attempt on him at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Trump is pictured bloodied as he was rushed off stage by Secret Service after the shooting at the Pennsylvania rally.
One spectator and the suspected gunman, FBI identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20 have died.
Trump is seeking to come back to power in 2024. He was campaigning in Pennsylvania when the sad incident occurred.
In a post on his social media site, Truth Social, Donald Trump said:
‘I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place’.
‘It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country’, he continued
